What are the Deaf Lottery Prizes?

Deaf Lottery has an incredible prize system, where you choose which $800,000 prize you want! There are four prizes to choose from, with only minor variations each draw. Make sure to check the current draw prizes.

After choosing your prize, any remaining amount will be credited in gold bullion and/or cash, up to the maximum listed. Which prize would you choose?

Are there Bonus Prizes?

Yes! Deaf Lottery has many more prizes as well as the exciting first prize. Players can also win other cash prizes for having their ticket drawn, Early Bird prizes, and bonus prizes for playing ticket books. There are typically 114 additional cash prizes to be won each draw, including 5 Early Bird prizes for players who bought their tickets prior to a certain date.

For those looking for value with their purchase, ticket books are a great option! Purchasing ticket books gives you the chance to not only win first prize and additional prizes, but also Bonus Prizes of gold bullion. Ticket books of 10 or more give you the chance to win additional gold bullion. For example, you’ll win an additional $30,000 gold bullion if you purchase 50 tickets or more and win first prize. Gold bullion can also be exchanged for cash.

What if I don’t like the prizes?

Deaf Lottery is perfect for players who want to choose their own prize. However, if you aren’t interested in the prizes on offer, you can also opt for a mostly gold bullion prize. Gold bullion is cashable, so you can cash it in and choose any prize you want!

For example, one prize option, the “Mortgage Buster” allows you to win your choice of car, plus up to $750,000 gold, and up to $20,000 cash. All in all, this prize allows you to choose an amazing car of your choice and $770,000 in cashable assets.

As a not-for-profit organisation, Deaf Connect relies on community donations and fundraising through the Deaf Lottery to continue providing and innovating effective community services and programs.

Programs and Services

Funds from the sale of the Deaf Lottery tickets support the vital programs and services of Deaf Connect.

  • Education
    Deaf Connect delivers nationally recognised and accredited courses in Auslan (Australian Sign Language). They also offer community Auslan classes, as well as Auslan for Families and Auslan camps.
  • Interpreting
    The organisation provides specialist Auslan interpreting services across Australia, called Auslan Connections. All profits from the service are further reinvested in programs that support the Deaf and hard of hearing community.
  • Hear for Kids
    Deaf Connect runs an early intervention and therapy support service, Hear for Kids, for infants and children who are Deaf and hard of hearing.
  • Ageing Well services
    Deaf Connect offer a Commonwealth approved home care program for seniors. Ageing Well is a service that can significantly improve the lives and well-being of seniors who are Deaf and hard of hearing.
  • Lifestyle Support Service
    For adults under 65 years of age with disabilities and who mostly use Auslan to communicate, the Lifestyle Support Service is able to assist. The service aims to see Deaf Connect clients in the general community living as independently as possible.
  • CommUNITY
    Deaf Connect has a commUNITY team that offers community engagement services, information sessions on the NDIS, referrals, and management plans. The CommUNITY team also manages the high-quality Auslan translation service offered by Deaf Connect.
