Pause for a second. What would $100 million actually look like in your life?
A constant round-the-world holiday. A dream home by the coast. Helping your family. Funding the business idea you’ve always parked for “one day.” Or maybe just sitting back and relaxing knowing everything will be taken care of…Messy house, hire a nanny. Lemon for a car, buy a new one. A sad looking fridge, fill it with ice cream. Whatever your heart desires.
Well, that “one day” might be closer than you think, because the Powerball jackpot has surged to $100 million. It’s the biggest Powerball jackpot of 2026 so far, and someone could be about to have their life changed in a single night.
The only question is… could it be you?
There was no Division 1 winner in the previous draw, which is why the Powerball jackpot has climbed to $100 million.
The latest Powerball results are published online and in the Oz Lotteries app as soon as they’re official.
And if there’s no winner again? That jackpot could climb even higher. If you’ve already secured your ticket for this week’s draw, you’re in the running. If not, there’s still time to grab your tickets here.
The Powerball draw takes place at 8:30pm AEST / 9:30pm AEDT this Thursday. (Draw 1587, October 15, 2026).
You can catch the draw live on TV or check the Powerball results straight after the numbers are announced on the Oz Lotteries website or app.
If you’re planning your week, consider this your reminder: Thursday night just became very important.

There are nine different Powerball divisions. Division 9 has the best odds of winning.
The winning seven Powerball numbers are randomly selected from a pool of 35 balls numbered 1 to 35. Then, the winning Powerball number is randomly selected from a pool of 20 balls numbered 1 to 20. To win Division 1, you need all seven matching numbers to win plus the Powerball number. You must match at least two numbers plus the Powerball number to win the lowest Powerball Division prize, Division 9.
