Regular Oz Lotteries Customer Wins $7.5 Million!

Imagine finding out you’d won over $7.5 million from an Oz Lotto Division 1 prize! One lucky Oz Lotteries customer has found out exactly how that feels. The happy man, who wishes to remain anonymous, confirmed his Division 1 win with our customer service team earlier this morning. He was one of only two Division 1 winners nationally in October’s Oz Lotto $15 million jackpot, draw 1289 on 30th October 2018. Each Division 1 winner won a prize of $7.5 million!

While confirming his win with our customer service team, the winner revealed he was washing dishes on Tuesday night and just “had a feeling” he was going to win the lottery. He promptly logged on to the Oz Lotteries website to purchase a System 11 ticket, choosing his children’s birthdays for numbers, rather than his usual numbers. Because he wasn’t playing his usual numbers, when he saw the Oz Lotteries results he didn’t immediately realise he’d won!

The winning numbers for draw 1289 were 8, 3, 31, 17, 14, 7, 28. The supplementary numbers were 30 and 39.
