Mater Prize Home Lottery Lucky Winner

1 min read

The lucky winner of the Mater Prize Home lottery No. 281 couldn’t believe it when he won a $2.1 million apartment in the Emporium Residences in Brisbane. Not only did Hilary win the beautiful home but also an additional $60,000 in gold bullion.

“He was telling me for years he was going to win…obviously he predicted it.”

Hilary, his daughter Sharon and his son-in-law Mark travelled from Tasmania to Brisbane to accept the prize and inspect his new apartment. They were very excited as they entered the doors. You can see how they reacted in the video below.

Hilary has been a strong supporter of the Mater Foundation Queensland since 2012 and will continue to be a supporter.

“I would suggest to everyone to get in and buy some tickets…it’s going to a good cause and you’ve got to be in it to win it.”
