Meet Maureen

Maureen is a mum of three and a former teacher-librarian. She has unfortunately been set on the unforeseen journey of being diagnosed with stage three ovarian cancer. Initially, this was a frightening thing for her to grasp. Her doctor at the Mater made her feel at ease and full of hope. Maureen is so grateful for the research that Mater Foundation Queensland has done in order to find an earlier detection method of ovarian cancer.
