March Superdraw Winners Become Millionaires!

The March Superdraw on Saturday 19 March 2022 continued the trend of creating more millionaires! There were sixteen winning Division 1 entries across Australia who are now celebrating a $1.25 million prize each. Oz Lotteries was lucky to have one of the March Superdraw winners. To celebrate the winners, we’ve pulled together some of the best winners stories! 

Meet Australia’s New Millionaires 

There were 16 winners sharing in the $20 Million Division 1 prize this Superdraw, with winners scattered across the country. There were an astonishing 9 winners in Victoria, 3 in Queensland, 2 in New South Wales, and 1 each in Western Australia and South Australia. 

While lottery officials are still discovering and reaching out to the winners, some of the exciting stories have come in.

• A Jamestown, SA woman decided to skip work and celebrate her $1.25 million win with champagne and loved ones. She looks forward to paying off the mortgage, a new car, and some holidays!
• A Morningside, QLD man is elated after learning he was a winner! He shared that it was actually a colleague who told him about the Superdraw. The winner joked that he will have to shout his friend some beer as a thank you. He looks forward to setting himself up for retirement in a couple of years. 
• A Dandenong, VIC man had just returned from a camping trip when he discovered his life-changing results. He is eager to use the winnings with his wife and travel the world. 

In some lovely news, amongst the winning entries, there were four syndicates. This means there were actually 82 Division 1 winners in the March Superdraw! One of the syndicate groups included the decade-old “High Roller” syndicate from Melbourne. 

“It’s been a whirlwind of emotions this morning with some of them already discovering their win! One of the syndicate members shared that they’d purchase a brand-new car.”

Oz Lotteries Superdraw Winner

Our team was so happy to have an Oz Lotteries Division 1 winner in the March Superdraw! The winner was already aware of the win and admitted it was a nervous Sunday waiting to speak to our team. 

The lucky customer learned of the life-changing results early Sunday morning while checking his emails. Initially, he thought he had won $1,000, which he was thrilled about. He explained that his whole world went blurry after showing his son in law who said, “I don’t think that’s $1,000!”. 

The Superdraw winner has been playing with Oz Lotteries for almost a decade, and shared that he always dreamt of winning. “My family thought I was crazy for buying lottery tickets every week – now they think I’m not so crazy!“

Despite the life-changing news, the NSW man told us that he was actually yet to share the news with his wife who is on a holiday! He looks forward to telling her and likely using the funds to pay off their house. What an incredible week for their family! 

March Superdraw Results

Not only did Oz Lotteries celebrate a Division 1 winner, but we also had four Division 2 winners, each taking home over $13,000! 

The winning numbers of Saturday Lotto draw 4243 on Saturday 19 March 2022 were 32, 24, 43, 38, 10, and 34, with supplementary numbers 6 and 25.
