About Prince of Wales Hospital Foundation
The Prince of Wales Hospital Foundation endeavours to provide better Hospital awareness, to build healthier communities and improve patient care.

The Prince of Wales Hospital is a major public teaching hospital located in Randwick, one of Sydney’s affluent eastern suburbs, with affiliations to the University of New South Wales and a reputation as one of the premier treatment and teaching facilities in the state of New South Wales today. The hospital is supported by the Prince of Wales Hospital Foundation, which contributes to fundraising through prize home lotteries and art union raffles. The Foundation promotes research and education of disease and health problems of adult patients at the Prince of Wales Hospital. It mission is to promote the work of the Hospital and build healthier communities.
Through the Prince of Wales Hospital Foundation Lottery, vital funds are contributed to patient care by individuals, industries, and businesses. The Foundation emphasises that every donation makes a difference. Major projects that have been supported recently include the Hybrid Operating Suite, the Nelune Comprehensive Cancer Centre, and the ICU adult isolation rooms for patients with infectious diseases. There have also been a host of smaller projects funded which are no less important to those who urgently need them.
