Three Superdraw Winners From Central Coast

There were fourteen Division 1 Superdraw winners on the 18th of June, and for one Oz Lotteries member, an “absolutely brilliant” dream has come true! The lucky lotto player won over $1.7 million in the $22,000,000 Superdraw! The man in his fifties said there were “no words to describe the feeling” he had once he realised he was a new millionaire. In fact, he was so stunned that his immediate reaction was to put the kettle on and make himself a cuppa to calm down.

He then called his family on the Central Coast of New South Wales to share the amazing news – but they didn’t believe him at first! Many big lotto winners choose to share their good fortune with just their immediate family in order to protect their privacy; it helps that in Australia, the identities of lotto winners are not published in the media, unlike the US where their names are made public.

Our Superdraw winner, who joined Oz Lotteries in 2009, has been a dedicated lotto player for over ten years. He said he had won some small prizes, up to Division 3, prior to the big win. His Pick 4 ticket, purchased online from OzLotteries.com, matched all six numbers from the $22,000,000 Superdraw and brought him a total of $1,732,640.98 in multiple divisions including Division 1.

The lucky winner said he plans to take his family on a good long holiday with the prize money.

Of the fourteen Division 1 Superdraw winners, another two were from the Central Coast of New South Wales. The first was a syndicate of thirty members who purchased their ticket from a local newsagency in Lake Munmorah and won over $1.5 million between them.

The “group of mates” ranging in age from 40 to 80 said they had quite the “lively” celebration after one of the guys called around that day after the draw to say they had matched all six winning Superdraw numbers. The group had been playing lotto together for “quite some time” and always chipped in for a syndicate ticket in the big draws.

“I’m not too sure if anyone has thought about what they’ll do with their share, but the prize money will make a difference to everyone in some way,” said a member of the group. Each member will receive over $50,000.

The second winning ticket was purchased from a local newsagency in Kariong, but further details are not yet known.

There was one other winning ticket sold in New South Wales, plus four in Victoria and two each in Queensland, South Australia, and Western Australia. The winning numbers from Saturday Lotto Superdraw 3643 were 20, 13, 44, 2, 1 and 39 plus supplementary numbers 4 and 7.

You could be next, but you have to be in it to win it.  Get your official tickets online up until 7pm AEST on the day of the draw.
