What is a Standard Game?
A Standard game is the easiest way to play Oz Lotto. With each Standard game you have one chance of winning a prize. A Standard game consists of up of 7 numbers and you can play up to 100 Standard games in a single entry online. Game numbers can be chosen manually or at random using QuickPick.
What is a System?
A System allows you to play more numbers than the Standard 7 number entry. This provides you with an entry covering every combination of numbers you have chosen, which increases your chances of winning a prize.
For example, if you purchased a System 10 ticket and chose numbers: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10, your ticket would include:
1) 1 2 3 4 5 6 7
2) 1 2 3 4 5 6 8
3) 1 2 3 4 5 6 9
4) 1 2 3 4 5 6 10
…and so on until all combinations have been filled (which would be 120 games in this case).
What is a Syndicate?
A Syndicate enables you to share the cost of a ticket between members of a group (generally a group of friends, relatives, or work colleagues). Syndicates give you more chances to win by covering a greater combination of numbers, meaning you get more games to play in a single draw. If the Syndicate ticket wins a prize, the total prize will be divided equally among all members of the group. Essentially, Syndicates allow you to increase your chances of winning a prize, for less money than if you played individually.
