What is the "Shared Entry"?
The shared entry is a mini syndicate with 2 Powerball games. If those games win any prizes then you and your friend share the winnings 50/50! All winnings are automatically distributed into your's and your friend's OzLotteries accounts.
How do my friend and I qualify for a free shared entry?
All
you have to do is refer your friend via the
Refer-a-Friend page.
Then
your friend has to is join OzLotteries via a special tracking link we include in an email we send to them on your behalf.
My friend is already an OzLotteries member, can I refer them again?
No. If someone is already a member of OzLotteries it is not possible to refer them again.
Do I earn a commission for referring friends?
Yes. For each friend you refer via the
refer-a-friend page, OzLotteries will pay you 5% commission based of any orders they make.
What is the difference between Refer-a-Friend and the Affiliate program?
The Affiliate program is intended to be for people who operate websites and wish to promote OzLotteries to their website visitors. To refer-a-friend you are not required to have a website, all is required is membership of OzLotteries. Refer-a-friend also offers you and your friends the benefit of being able to get free shared lottery entries, the affiliate program doesn’t.
How many friends can I refer?
You can refer as many friends as you wish!
Important Note
You are required to know the person you are referring. Referring random people who you would not have permission to be normally contacting is considered SPAM and as such could result in your OzLotteries membership being terminated.
How can I tell if my friends have joined?
Simply visit the
Referrals Summary Page within your OzLotteries
account and you can see who has joined and qualified for free shared entries.
Can I send my friends a reminder?
Yes. It's possible to send a reminder from the
Referrals Summary Page, simply click the "send reminder" link next to their name if they're marked as not having joined yet.
What do the terms "Joined" and "Active" mean
"Joined" is the number of friends you have referred that have signed up with OzLotteries.
"Active" is the number of friends you have referred that have signed up with OzLotteries and have made at least one purchase, earning you a commission.
