• About the Game: Wednesday Lotto numbers are drawn from a machine containing 45 balls, numbered from 1 to 45 inclusive. For a standard lottery, you choose 6 numbers from this range.
• In total, 8 balls are drawn of which the first 6 are the winning numbers. The last 2 balls are the supplementary numbers. These supplementary balls are used to determine prizes in Divisions 2 and 5.
  
  If there is no Division 1 winner then the prize is jackpotted to the next Monday Lotto draw's division 1.
• Changes are coming to Monday & Wednesday Lotto. Effective for Draw 3116, 27th February 2012: Monday & Wednesday Lotto will have changes to prize allocation including new division 6 criteria, changes to 1st division functionality, and there will be a cost of game increase.

Standard
A standard game refers to each standard line of numbers you select for a lotto game. Each standard game you play offers you a chance of winning one prize.

Syndicate

A Wednesday Lotto syndicate (or group play) entry allows you to join an Oz Lotteries Syndicate which enables you to share System entries and prizes with other players. Syndicates allow you to cover more numbers by sharing the cost between the members of a group. Playing more games increases the chance of winning a prize. If the syndicate ticket wins a prize, the total winnings will be divided equally among all of the members of the syndicate.

System
A system allows you to play more numbers than for a standard entry providing you with an an entry covering every combination of the numbers you have chosen. This type of entry allows players to increase their chances of winning a prize by playing a wider range of number combinations.

Monday & Wednesday Lotto Combo
A Monday & Wednesday Lotto combo allows you to play the same combinations on both Monday and Wednesday draws. This type of entry allows players to increase their chances of winning a prize by playing more games each week.

Super Combo
A Super Combo entry lets you enter more number combinations than a standard game entry, but does not cover all possible number combinations of a selected set of numbers like a Systems entry.

Wednesday Lotto offers 5 'divisions' or levels of prizes.

Division 1: All six main winning numbers
Division 2: Any 5 main winning numbers and either supplementary number
Division 3: Any 5 main winning numbers
Division 4: Any 4 main winning numbers
Division 5: Any 3 main winning numbers and either supplementary number

After each draw OzLotteries.com will send you an email confirming whether or not you have won a prize.

If there is no Division 1 winner then the prize is jackpotted to the next Monday Lotto draw's division 1.

Wednesday Lotto is drawn weekly at 8:30pm (AEDT) on Wednesday nights. Results and dividends are generally available on this site by 9:30pm (AEDT).
