• About the Game: For Powerball, 2 sets of numbers are drawn from 2 machines, each containing 45 balls numbered from 1 to 45 inclusive. For a standard game, you choose 5 numbers from the first range of 1 to 45 and a Powerball number from the second range of 1 to 45.
• In total, the machines draw 6 numbers. Firstly, the 5 winning numbers which are drawn from the first barrel and secondly 1 Powerball number which is drawn from the second barrel of 45 numbers.

Syndicate

A Powerball syndicate (or group play) entry allows you to join an Oz Lotteries Syndicate which enables you to share System entries and prizes with other players. Syndicates allow you to cover more numbers by sharing the cost between the members of a group. Playing more games increases the chance of winning a prize. If the syndicate ticket wins a prize, the total winnings will be divided equally among all of the members of the syndicate.

Power 45
Power 45 increases your chances of winning a Powerball game by automatically playing every possible Powerball number.

System
A system allows you to play more numbers than for a standard entry providing you with an an entry covering every combination of the numbers you have chosen. This type of entry allows players to increase their chances of winning a prize by playing a wider range of number combinations.

Super Combo
A Super Combo entry lets you enter more number combinations than a standard game entry, but does not cover all possible number combinations of a selected set of numbers like a Systems entry.

There are 7 prize divisions in Powerball. To win a prize, the minimum you need to do is pick 3 winning numbers (this can be three straight numbers or two numbers plus the Powerball).
