Systems

What is a Full System?

A Full System (also called a 'System') allows you to select more than the standard 6 numbers. For example, a Full System 7 allows you to pick 7 numbers and a Full System 8 allows you to pick 8 numbers and so on. The highest amount of numbers you can pick is 20 which is a Full System 20.

The benefit of playing a Full System is that your entry is equivalent to playing every possible combination of 6 numbers which increases your chances of winning. For example, if you are playing a Full System 8, your entry is equivalent to all 28 possible combinations of 6 numbers from your 8 selections.

What is a Reduced System?

A Reduced System (also referred to as a Wheeling System) also allows you to select more than the standard 6 numbers. For example, a Reduced System 12 allows you to pick 12 numbers and a Reduced System 14 allows you to pick 14 numbers.

Unlike a Full System, the Reduced System does not include every possible combination of 6 numbers. The numbers are mathematically structured to provide you with the same chance of winning a prize as a Full System but in fewer games, thereby considerably reducing the cost of your entry.

Which Reduced Systems plans do Ozlotteries.com offer?

Ozlotteries.com offers a range of Reduced Systems created by our own combinatorial design expert. You can find further details of these plans in the Strategy section.

Do I get a copy of the reduced system plan when I play?

Yes, the full list of games will be emailed to you when your games have been lodged. Details of your entry are also available on your My Account section.

How do I win a prize with a Reduced System?

Each Reduced System has its own prize guarantee depending on the amount of winning numbers you match with your selections. Unlike a Full System, you are not covering every combination of your selections, but remember that every single game you play has a chance to win Division 1. Please see the Strategy section for further details.

Have your customers won using your systems?

Yes. Due to our methodical approach to number coverage, our customers have won many Division 1 and Division 2 prizes and thousands of Division 3, 4 and 5 prizes.
